UPDATE: On the movies the right one didn't upload, I will get the bee one soon.
On July 2nd we went to the Colonial Days at SCERA Park. Max and London had just had swimming lessons there so we though that would be a fun, educational family home evening. We went the first year they did this event and it was pretty fun. This year was so much better. They had so many things people could do and lots of hands on . We probably could have stayed a lot longer, but we did go a little late. I would recommend it to anyone, we had a great time. It was very interesting.

On July 3rd we helped save a spot for the parade the following morning. We took the shift from about 8 until just after 10. The little ones wanted to come along, so we thought, what the heck. Aidan and Andrew were with their Mom for this holiday, so they weren't able to be there. Max and London loved it. They played in the little tent. There was a group on scooters who went up and down the parade route throwing candy to the campers. The kids especially loved that. You gotta love crazy BYU students.
On the 4th we went to the parade and then went to my sister Carrie's house.
We had a BBQ and a swim party. It was so much fun! We then came home to relax before fireworks. Max couldn't wait until dark so we did a few in the daylight. He especially loved the smoke balls. Max and Shane decided to put them in the mailbox to watch the smoke come out of the mailbox cracks. You will have to watch the video, it was so funny. A nice bee didn't like all the smoke. If you listen close you can hear it go toward Shane. It was crazy. I wish I would have gotten him on camera.
Here's a few of the night's happenings.
