Not For Sale

So, the other night we went to my brother-in-law's house to visit. Their neighbors ended up calling and inviting them over for dessert. We know them as well, so they said we were invited as well. While we were there this cute little, barely 7-year old, girl kept wanting to hold London. At the end of the night we had to leave and she said, "Would you sell your baby?" After a second I asked if she wanted to buy her. She nodded really sweetly and I had to respond that she is not for sale. It was so cute!

So I was at the computer, blogging, and just wanted to take some random pictures of London. Obviously, they are akward because she is on my lap, but she is still a doll! In one of them she even has a kind of half smile. I can't believe she is already 5 weeks!

Special Sunday 2009

Yesterday was a special Sunday for our family. It was the first Sunday London attended church and it was Aidan's ordination. Before church we all took pictures together so we have a ton. Everyone looked so nice for the special day. We are lucky enough to have my Dad, Aidan's step-grandpa, as our Bishop. Because of this, he was able to preside over the ordination and participate in it. Uncle Jake and Aunt Julie are also in our ward, so they attended and helped participate. Aidan's step-dad and step-brother and Mom came of course. It was really cool. My Dad asked how old Ren, Aidan's step-brother, is and he said he had just turned 16 and had been ordained to the office of a Priest. Because of this my Dad told him he could actually participate in the ordination. His face was classic! He was shocked and totally excited, you could tell. Shane said that when Ren put his hands on Aidan's head he said, "Woah, cool!" I thought it was really neat that Ren's first ordinance he participated in would be for his brother! How awesome is that! It was so neat and Aidan was given a very nice blessing that left few dry eyes. Aidan was crying and so how could you not cry with him. It was very special.

Then after church my family got together for our monthly birthday dinner for Aidan and Uncle Joseph. We decided to have breakfast for dinner. Yummy! Here is cousin Frank, London and cousin Eli. Frank was born middle of January, Eli was born middle of December and London the beginning of February.

Because it was breakfast, we decided instead of cake to do cinnamon rolls. Here the birthday boys are while we sang to them. Uncle Joseph had the rectangle pan and we made blowing out the candles difficult for Aidan by spreading it out over 3 pans!

Aidan is 12!

Look at this little cutie! I actually can see quite a bit of little London in him! Anyway, Aidan turned 12 today! I can hardly believe it! He is such a good young man. Tomorrow he will be ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood! I will post a picture of him tomorrow as well. We are so proud of the young man that he is and know he is destined for great things.

Car Seat Test

When babies are born before 37 weeks they have to have a car seat test. This is where they are put in a car seat for about 1.5 hours and are monitored to make sure they can breathe, etc. Max had this test and I got pictures. London had this test, but they did it while I was asleep, so here she is right before we took her home. So tiny in that giant seat.

London is so warm and cuddly, you just can't help but fall asleep or at least get pretty close. Here are a few people affected by her cuddle:

Max has been into the song "Shake Shake Shake Shake Shake It" (I think that is what it is called). Here is him dancing to the original song and then his version on the Rock Band guitar. I love his little bows at the end of his performance.

Can I Have Your Digits?

So Max has been playing with Andrew and Uncle Joseph. They have pretend cell phones and they were calling different friends. Well Max was all put out because Uncle Joseph and Andrew wouldn't give him the phone numbers for their friends, especially Crystal (Andrew's imaginary friends). He came crying to us telling us he couldn't call them because the boys wouldn't give him the number. Uncle Joseph said, "Well he can't because they are Andrew's imaginary friends!" I said, "Will it really hurt for him to have the numbers since the friends are imaginary?" Uncle Joseph thought about it and realized it would be ok. He promptly walked over to Max's cell phone (An Altoid Box) and typed in both he and Andrew's imaginary friends' phone numbers. Max walked away with a grin, now able to speed dial Crystal's digits!

Canyon Time

The boys and Shane have really been into going up the canyon and exploring. All the nice weather we have been having has made them itch to be outside. They have been exploring and have found elk, hiked, thrown rocks in the river, and just had a great time with each other. They have taken along Unlce Joseph as well.
