Back in the Saddle

Shane had his surgery on his knee 6 months ago.  He finally got to play in his first soccer game, with the assistance of a new knee brace.  It was custom made for his leg and the insurance paid for it.  Wahoo!

Spring Soccer

Max has started soccer again.  Shane is still coaching and Max is working really hard to improve his game.

Easter Outfits

This year for Easter everyone went BYU.  All the boys had their ties and London had cute little bows in her hair.  I actually didn't get anything but candy (and not much of that, thankfully, so I wore a blue shirt to make sure I fit in.

Ladies' Day

The Monday after Spring Break, Max was able to go to a birthday party in Lehi.  While he was there, London and I decided to go to Trafalga.  We played miniature golf and rode the carousel.

An Early Easter

This year Shane's birthday fell on Easter.  We decided to celebrate his birthday and the more spiritual side of Easter on that day and do our more commercial side of Easter while we were in Las Vegas.  We dyed eggs and then the next morning the Easter Bunny had left us surprises in our baskets and hid our eggs.  I don't have pictures of the older boys on "Easter" morning because they weren't as in to the hunt as the little ones.

Vegas 2011- Day 2 - Just Chillin'

 

 After the buffet we went swimming, napped, swimming, ate dinner, played at the playground, basketball, ping pong, etc.  It was just a relaxing day.

Vegas 2011 - Day 2 - Red Rock

We decided that on Saturday we would do nothing but stay at the condo.  Except, we did make an exception for the $5 buffet breakfast my sister told us about.  It was scruptious, even with the long line to get in.  We also got some great photos after.  MinSeob decided to sleep in, so it was just the family.

Vegas 2011 - Day 1 - Stuck & Fountains

After the Venetian we decided to walk back across the street and see the volcano at the Mirage.  After the Mirage we headed to the Mirage parking garage to get our car and go to the Bellagio.  It was getting late and we wanted to get to the fountains as soon as possible.  We got in the elevator on floor 4 and hit the button for floor 6.  We were in there for about 2 seconds when the elevator made a horrible sound and felt like it dropped a couple feet.  We all looked at each other and realized that the elevator said floor five and wasn't opening.  So, Shane grabbed the phone and started chatting with Mirage management.  We were only in there for about 15 minutes, but it was an adventure anyway.  They came and rescued us.  We had to step up to the 5th floor because the elevator hadn't made it all the way up to the 5th floor.  It must have gotten there and then dropped the couple feet, as far as we could tell.  We were going to talk to a manager and try to get something like a discount to a show, but Shane chickened out and he's the best at talking people into stuff, so we gave up.

We also watched the fountains and then on our way back we ran into Michael from "The Next Food Network Star" and "Chopped."  He was not my favorite, but I couldn't pass up the photo op.  Honestly, he is a little crazy!  Here is a clip from chopped where you can see what I mean.
