We must make time for Disney!

We were so lucky this year and were invited to Disneyland by Troy and his family. The kids were very excited, especially to be able to go with cousins. We haven't done that in awhile. Aidan and Andrew got a double dose because just 2 weeks before they went with their Mom. We were grilling them on how busy it was and stuff to gauge our trip. Fortunately, we got some great tips from a few sources and we barely waited in line for anything, which is crazy for summer time!

In Anaheim we were fortunate to stay in a house. This helped so much with preparing food. It was also nice to have a pool all to ourselves. It was heated so nicely. I realize now I hardly got in, but the kids were fish. We would go to Disneyland in the morning, take a break during the hot time and return in the evening and go all night!

On the first night at Disneyland, the little girls stayed home with Heidy. They had their fun earlier and decided to have girl time, painting nails and having a tea party. They had a lot of fun and the rest of us had fun until closing at the park. When we got back, we found the girls had put all the princesses to bed. Sweet, and yet, a little creepy to come home to.

These were some of the toys provided at the house. It was really great!

Special Baptism

Two of our nieces chose to be baptized. They were baptized after meeting with the missionaries as they are both over 8. It was a very special baptism and after we got a yummy lunch! Thanks Oscar and Amber! I was so nervous because I was playing the piano so I didn't remember to take pictures. Fortunately, at the lunch I did get a couple shots with these handsome boys. The second is our attempt to get a picture of Brigham without Aidan. Every year we do a family DVD with pictures of everyone through the year. Each boy tries to have fewer pictures than the other, and pictures together don't count. I'm trying to help Aidan's numbers since I am picture happy and get plenty of him in.

A Trip to the Farm

Max's class was able to go to Wheeler Farm to see some animals and learn a little history. I was lucky enough to go along. After lunch we played and I would kick the football to Max and he would catch it and either kick it back or throw it. I got to be the cool Mom for a moment when all the other boys thought what we were doing looked fun and they all came and joined in. It was a lot of fun!

It's BYU Time Again!

Each year we have been fortunate enough to be able to do balloons for BYU. We get some football and basketball tickets in trade and some money. That is awesome! This year they added some events and we enjoyed going to many of them.
