Cousins!

In April we were fortunate to have Shane's brother's family come and visit. Jason has joined the army and starts boot camp this month. They came to visit everyone before they move wherever the Army takes them. We hadn't seen them in over a year, so it was great!

These three are really close in age. "T" was born in June, "V", the little girl, was born in July and Max was born in August. Max and "T" became good friends again and Max cried right after they left. He played it so tough and then they drove away and he broke down.

MIA

I know, I have been missing in action. I have just had a crazy couple of months and the blog has kind of been my last thing on the list. This is bad because it is my journal. I am still doing personal progress and need to update that. I am also still taking pictures, but I got a new camera and it came to me defective, so I had to return it. So, the pictures are still hit and miss because my computer doesn't like my current camera. So, we will see what happens. I will try to get the posts going. We will see if my camera will cooperate. Wish me luck!

Mother's Day

With Mother's Day fast approaching I feel very blessed to be the mother of my very special children and to get to be a step-mother to another mother's children as well. I am very blessed and love each of them individually and in a different and special way.

A lot of my friends have posted this mormon message. It really makes you feel grateful for all that you have.

Provo City 5K and Half Marathon

I will get a couple more pictures from my Mom. I am waiting for the one of all of us together. My sister, Anna, decided to be brave and run the Half Marathon. My other sister, Carrie, decided to be brave and walk the 5K. So, the rest of us decided to "support." My Mom, Dad, little sister, 2 younger brothers, my sister-in-law and my brother-in-law came out. I also did the 5K with London and Max.

The weather was HORRIBLE! It wasn't looking too bad and they said it shouldn't rain until 2. Then, just after we started it began to hail and rain and sleet, etc. Max walked some of it, but got cold and unhappy so he rode on the stroller for a lot of it. London was very tired and would have slept, but Max started crying so she couldn't sleep. Finally, toward the end, my brother came back and held Max for a little bit. He stopped crying, so London fell asleep. Thank you Dan! My Mom and I walked it together. We could have done better had I not been pushing 60 lbs. of kids, but it was still fun to try. Next time I will try it for time, not for experience. I will also do it kid-less. Shane was on a camp out, so I had to bring the kids. My brother got Max to run in at the end, despite the cold. He was a hit! Most people in the gallery have like one photo crossing the finish line. There are like 6 or 7 of Max crossing. One of the organizers even picked him up and talked to him in a photo. Easter Parties

This Easter we got way too much candy! We started with a party with my family (pictures below). We had it at my work. We had dinner and then we chatted while the kids did a craft. Little puppets. After the puppets they went around the building looking for eggs. Max got a lot of candy there. The next morning we went to the city egg hunt (which was FREEZING) where we also got way to much candy and some prizes. On Easter morning the Easter bunny had also hidden some eggs full of candy. It was fun, but I feel a toothache coming on...but not for me...for Max.
